80th anniversary of Batman
In 1939, Batman appeared in issue 27 of Detective Comics, as a mysterious avenger, who wasn’t scared of violence. That was 80 years ago! In honor of this anniversary, the Royal Dutch Mint presents the Batman ‘Mirror Coin’!
Obverse - On the obverse of this coin, there’s…nothing! Shine a light on it, with your phone’s flashlight for instance, and reflect the ‘Bat-signal’ on the wall, the ceiling or wherever!
Reverse - The reverse of the ‘Mirror Coin’, shows the Batman logo, which can be seen in the ‘Bat-signal’.
