Herdenkingsmunten.be was the first to offer original historical Belgian coins in coincards. Now there is another first: the Belgian 10 franc coin 1969 – 1979 devalued in coincard. Belgium's first pure nickel coin has been devalued and is now available in both language versions in a quadrilingual coincard!

The 10 Franc Belgium 1969–1979 is the first Belgian coin to be made of pure nickel. Now it is also the first coin to appear devalued in a coincard!  Both the French and Flemish editions were produced in equal numbers in each of the ten years. In addition to coin strike orientation (180⁰), there are also known versions in medal strike orientation.

The obverse was designed by Harry Elstrøm and shows the portrait of King Baudouin I facing left and the designer's signature at the bottom. The reverse was designed by Jan De Bast and bears the Belgian coat of arms between 10 and F. At the top: BELGIE / BELGIQUE, at the bottom the year. On the coat of arms: EENDRACHT MAAKT MACHT / L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE and also the designer's signature. The reverse also features the mint master's and mint mark, with the bird of mint master Robert Vogeleer (1963–1987) on the left and the head of Archangel Michael on the right, indicating that the coin was minted in Brussels.
