100 years TT Assen
100 years of tradition, speed and emotion. The TT Assen celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2025 and that’s a reason for a toast! For this occasion, that is known for its loyal volunteers and visitors, the Royal Dutch Mint launches a special commemorative coin, commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Finance.
Designers
The designers of the commemorative coin for 100 years TT Assen are Alex Jacobs and Ellemieke Schoenmaker.
Design
Jacobs and Schoenmaker designed the coin, based on three important parts of the TT Assen: the race, the people and the location. The speed and dynamics of the race can be seen through the motor in the middle, the people have been depicted by using grid points and the location can be seen in the horizontal stripes, that show the landscape of Drenthe.
