Slovakia 2 Euro ''Velvet Revolution'' 2009

• Special 2 euro coin in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.

• After the fall of the Berlin Wall, a nonviolent revolution took place in Slovakia on November 14, 1989. The country was thereby freed from the Eastern Bloc dictatorship.

• The coin shows a bunch of keys and a bell, symbols for the noisy opening of the Iron Curtain.
