Sven Kramer (April 23, 1986) is a retired Dutch long track speed skater. He is a 3-time Olympian champion of the 5000 meter. Kramer also won the World Allround Championship nine times and the European Allround Championship ten times. In 2022, Sven Kramer decided to retire as a speed ice skater.

His skating days are over, but Sven Kramer does not sit still. He is busy with the Sven Kramer Academy: with this he stimulates children to move. With skating lessons, Sven wants to let youth and adults discover the joy in skating.
As a tribute to the successful career of Sven Kramer, the Royal Dutch Munt will launch a special medal, in collaboration with the Sven Kramer Academy and Team Jumbo-Visma.
