Advent Calendar 2022

The smell of fresh pine needles, the lovely scent of hot chocolate and the festive decorations around the house: Christmas is coming! With the first Sunday of Advent around the corner, you can already start the countdown to the most wonderful time of the year.
 
The Advent season is a time of expectation, hope and love. It is the time we mostly share with our loved ones. To make the Advent Sundays even more special, the Royal Dutch Mint created a Advent Calendar.
 
Design
The Advent Calendar has a special packaging. The building of the Royal Dutch Mint is portrayed on it. The Dutch Vault opens not one, but four doors for you. These four doors represent the four Sundays of Advent. Behind every door, you will find a unique medal, inspired by church windows and Christmas traditions.
 
The Advent Sundays for Christmas 2022 are November 27^th, December 4^th, December 11^th and December 18^th. The first medal for the first Sunday of Advent symbolizes hope: the perfect way to start this season. The second medal gets you in the perfect Sinterklaas mood. For the third Sunday of Advent, you will receive a special guardian angel for next year. The last medal makes sure you are ready for Christmas time!
