Belgium 2 Euro ''Rome'' 2007

• Special 2 euro coin on the occasion of fifty years of the Treaty of Rome. This treaty laid the foundation for the European Union.

• Thirteen euro countries release their own version of this coin. The currency is legal tender in all euro countries.

• The inscriptions "Treaty of Rome 50 years", "Europe" and the name of the issuing country are given in the language of the issuing country. The inscription on the Belgian currency is in Latin.
