Livestream First Strike 75 years of freedom 5 Euro Coin: 05 may 2020
On 5 May 2020 the ceremonial First Strike of the 75 years of freedom 5 Euro Coin took place in the brand new Royal Dutch Mint building in Houten. The Dutch feel strongly connected on 4 and 5 May, respectively National Remembrance Day and Liberation Day. Especially in times like these the Royal Dutch Mint wishes to honour 75 years of freedom in interconnectedness and for that reason pursued the ceremonial First Strike of this commemorative coin in adjusted form.
The ceremonial First Strike is performed in collaboration with the National Committee for 4 and 5 May.
