The Dutch version of Sesame street has its own begin tune, which invites children to leave their toys and install themselves cosily in front of the television, for Sesame Street! For 45 years, the award-winning children's programme Sesamstraat has been entertaining Dutch toddlers at bedtime and secretly teaching them something at the same time. To celebrate the 45th anniversary, the Royal Dutch Mint presents the cheerful Sesame Street Collection. The anniversary collection consists of twelve heavily silver-plated medals of Sesame Street's most beloved residents. In the words of Tommy: Poehee!

Each issue features a photo portrait of one of the popular Muppets on the front with the name and other characteristic details in relief. The reverse side features the 45 years of Sesame Street logo. The issues come in a cheerful coincard entirely dedicated to the anniversary. From now on, the collection can be ordered complete. You will receive a numbered Certificate of Ownership, for each issue a Certificate of Authenticity with more information about the Muppet concerned (in DUTCH) and of course the coloured medals in coincard itself.
