Day of the Mint Set 2023

Since 1567, the Royal Dutch Mint has been the proud producer of Dutch coins. Apart from that, we belong to the top-5 producers of commemorative coins, Royal decorations and collector’s items worldwide. We did not get here just out of nowhere! Every position is of great importance
From projectmanager to minter: at the Royal Dutch Mint, we need everybody to create a product of the best quality. The making of a coin begins with a design: this is where a 2D-design is made into a 3D-design. At the laser, the 3D-design is burned in hardened steel: the stamp. As our client, you will receive the coin in a nice packaging at home, but there is months of work put into this. Every project must be arranged from beginning to end: from design to packaging and everything in between. To honor our people, the Day of the Mint Set 2023 is completely devoted to everyone who works at the Royal Dutch Mint. The packaging of the set consists of images of people working at our company.
 
Mint Set with special medal
The Day of the Mint Set 2023 has all eight Dutch euro coins of 2023. There is also a special medal with the set. This medal is also about the Day of the Mint theme: the people behind the coin. On the reverse the building of the Royal Dutch Mint, the Dutch Vault, is shown. At the top you can find all the names of the people who work at the company. On the bottom left, on the reflection of the building, is the text: “Day of the Mint 2023”. The obverse contains several small images, which can also be found on the campaign image of the Day of the Mint 2023.
