• Special 2 euro coin dedicated to the French occupation of Malta from 1798 to 1800.
• Malta refused to cooperate with Napoleon, who was on course for Egypt.
• The French occupation meant the end of feudalism and slavery in Malta, and the beginning of, among other things, education and a better justice.
