• Special 2-euro coin, the second in a series of five in the context of the Maltese student project By Children in Solidarity.
• The theme of the second issue is Peace. The design was created by the student Katya Muscat who won a competition.
• The coin shows two children with the Maltese flag and a dove of peace.
