Summer Carnival Rotterdam medal in coincard

The Royal Dutch Mint issues an exclusive coincard, which is a part of the series ‘Intangible Heritage of The Netherlands’.

The Summer Carnival Rotterdam is an annual carnival where Rotterdam is all about color, culture and creativity! The streets of the city are now even more colored and festive. The Street Parade is definitely the highlight: dozens of costumed carnivalists entertain the public with rousing music and dance. This multicultural party brings people from different cultures together: the carnival plays an important role in the growing respect for various cultural traditions. Since 2016, the Summer Carnival Rotterdam is recorded in the Inventory of Intangible Heritage.
 
The design
