US Native American Dollar 2020 "D"
• In 2009, the US Mint started with a series of dollars in honor of the original inhabitants of North America. The coins show the contributions that the Native Americans have made to American development and culture.
• This issue is dedicated to human rights activist Elizabeth Peratrovich.
• Peratrovich - a Tlingit Indian by birth - was responsible for the first anti-discrimination law in the US, passed in Alsaska in 1945.
• The historic figure of Sacagawea is depicted on the common reverse of the Native American Dollars.
• The coin was minted by the Denver Mint, mint mark "D".
