Sporty Issues
In addition to manufacturing the medals, we are also releasing two exclusive issues and a special set, which are now available to order on our website! The issue in coincard and Silver issue in a window case are designed by graphic designer Esther Bergé: “The sports are depicted in such a way that they form a wheel together, the wheelchair wheel of, for example, a participant in wheelchair basketball or wheelchair rugby. The Invictus Games The Hague 2020 tulip forms the axis of the wheel.” The silver issue has black platinum and the tulip in the middle is gold-plated.
Moreover, a special set is available in a luxury case with Gold, Silver and Bronze issues that refer to the stage. Just like the official medals, the yellow tulip on the items in the special set is enamelled by hand by the silversmiths of the Royal Dutch Mint. This set is very limited to only 50 pieces, so be quick!
